Winter 2025 Ensembles Schedule
8 Sessions, Wednesdays November 12 - January 21
7pm - 9pm, Rehearsals @ Wild East Brewery, Please arrive by 6:45pm
Recital: Saturday, January 24 @ Littlefield
11:00 AM - Soundcheck
1:00 PM - Performance
Tuition: $450 for both ensembles, $360 for one ensemble.
Class length: 2 hours per rehearsal. Total of 16 hours of class time if playing both ensembles.
Class Size: Limited to 20 participants
Equipment Needed: Students must bring their instruments in playable condition and a stand.
This winter we are offering two different ensembles for our Advanced Bantam Studios Students.
Rock Orchestra + Symphonic Orchestra
Rehearsal Schedule:
November 12: Rock Orchestra
November 19: Symphonic Orchestra
November 26: NO CLASS
December 3: Rock Orchestra
December 10: Symphonic Orchestra
December 17: Rock Orchestra
December 24: NO CLASS
January 31: NO CLASS
January 7: Symphonic Orchestra
January 14: Rock Orchestra
January 21: Symphonic Orchestra
January 24: Recital
All students playing an Advanced+* level on Violin, Viola, Cello, Upright Bass, Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin can participate in both ensembles. Students have the option to choose one or both ensembles.
*If you have already participated in a Bantam Studios Ensemble, you can sign up for either of these ensembles.
Rock Orchestra: Students will learn a set of folk, pop, and rock songs that are orchestrated for the ensemble and various playing levels and will feature a professional live band. The full instrumentation will be dependent on song selection but can include: drums, upright / electric bass, electric guitar, keys / synth, and a singer that will perform the songs with the students. Guest Performers TBA
Symphonic Orchestra: Students will learn a set of pieces that will include orchestrated film scores, and classical arrangements that feature professional soloists and section players. Pieces will be orchestrated for the ensembles and all playing levels Advanced+ can participate. The full instrumentation will be dependent on piece selection but can include: winds, brass, solo strings, and percussion. Guest Performers TBA
